The Da Nang Market Management Bureau recently made a surprise inspection visit to the Con Market in an attempt to prevent the trading of fake, counterfeit, illegally smuggled, and poor-quality goods at this venue.

During the visit, 2 traders were found selling fake Knorr seasoning products. 

In detail, expired fake Knorr packages weighing 2kg, 40g, and 175g were found at the Xi Duc stall.  Meanwhile, another stall owned by Ms Nguyen Thi Be was found displaying 3 fake Knorr packages of 900g each, 7 packages of 175g each, and another 14 packages of 55g each.

The 2 violators failed to submit any relevant documents to prove their products’ origin.  Ms Be said that each of the fake items was bought at between 500 VND and 700 VND cheaper than authentic ones.

All of the fake items were seized by the Bureau at the scene.
