A total of 1,000 sets of hearing aids have been presented to hearing-impaired patients in the central region as part of a programme jointly organised by the VinaCapital Fund, Starkey Hearing Foundation, the Da Nang Volunteer and the Hoan My Hospital.

Specifically, 600 sets of hearing aids were provided for poor people in Da Nang on 1 May, while 400 are being presented to those living in other central provinces on 1-2 May.

In the next months of this year, the programme is expected to give 500 more sets of hearing aids to those in need in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi, raising the total number of gifts presented this year to 1,500.

Through the programme, the VinaCapital Fund and the Hoan My Hospital want to boost their corporate social responsibility in a bid to enhance people’s health.
