Establishment of 124ha dairy-cow farm approved
A detailed plan has been approved by the Da Nang People's Committee for the establishment of a dairy-cow farm in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phong Commune. This plan will help the city to develop local hi-tech breeding sector associated with its goal of restructuring the agriculture.
The new farm borders a concrete road to the north, a ring road on the western side of the city to the south, an agricultural land to the west, and a residential area to the east.
Covering an area of 124ha, the farm will feature an animal feed store, an operations centre, a grass and corn-growing area, and other technical infrastructure facilities.
Developed by the Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (Vinamilk), the farm will boast advanced technological production lines, plus mechanisation and automation systems meeting national standard TCVN ISO 9001:2008.
Most notably, the site will be developed as one of the city’s popular attractions, which allow locals and visitors to learn about the process of raising cows and milking.
