MS Chinese Taishan cruise ship, carrying a total of over 600 passengers from China, berthed at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on Wednesday noon.  Arranged by the Saigontourist travel agency, this was the first ship to visit the city in the 2017 - 2018 cruise ship season.

The foreign passengers visited some of the city’s popular tourist attractions, and discovered the beauty of Hoi An City in Quang Nam Province.

The ship then left Da Nang for Quang Ninh Province at 8.00pm on the same day.

From now until late this year, this 900-passenger cruise ship is likely to bring thousands of foreign passengers to Da Nang from over its 30 arrivals in the city.
