On Wednesday, taxi driver Nguyen Nguyen received a Certificate of Merit and a reward by a leader of the Tien Sa Taxi Company for having returned a dropped property to its owners.

At 7.30pm on 29 August, Nguyen took two female South Korean passengers from the Song Han Hotel at 144 Ly Tu Trong to the Lotte Mart in Hai Chau District’s Hoa Cuong Bac Ward.  After dropping the passengers at the supermarket, Nguyen found a handbook in his taxi which contained 30,000 Won and 386 USD in cash.

After not finding the passengers in the supermarket, he came back to the hotel to wait for them.  Then, all the dropped property was returned to the owners at 10.00pm on the same day.
