According to the organisers of the recent Hai Chau Book Fair 2018, the 5-day event has attracted a total of 230,000 visitors, including around 184,000 young people, to buy their favourite books.

In particular, 380,000 copies of books in total have been sold, which helped participating businesses took 19 billion VND in total from sales. Most notably, visitors to this year’s fair have been very impressed with eye-catching decoration of stalls and newly-published books on display there.

Highlights of this year’s event were fascinating exchange activities between local readers and domestic young writers who were willing to share their own stories about how to overcome obstacles to success.

In addition, a wide range of exciting cultural activities have been held during the fair, including amazing musical performances featuring book-inspired songs, and a storytelling contest.
