321 billion VND for upgrading Phu Loc wastewater treatment plant
The Da Nang authorities have recently given the go-ahead for the 2nd phase of a project to upgrade the Phu Loc wastewater treatment plant in Lien Chieu District.
The over 321 billion VND project will help to ensure that the discharge meets the national prescribed standards. In addition, it will resolve the environmental pollution in the basin of the Phu Loc River, and create a healthy and clean environment for residents nearby.
The soon-to-be-upgraded Phu Loc plant will use advanced aerobic technology-based odour control system to ensure that unpleasant odours will not be released during any stage of its operation.
Once fully operation, the plant’s daily capacity is expected to increase to 65,000m3. Meanwhile, its discharged wastewater will meet A-grade quality which is the national standard for industrial wastewater.
