The family of Mr Huynh Thanh Hai, 41, from Quang Ngai Province’s Binh Son District is now overwhelmed by financial problems and spiritual pain, all sparked by an expected incident 2 years ago.

Mr Hai is now being treated at the Traditional Medicine Ward of the Hoa Vang General Hospital in Da Nang for further treatment.

Mr Hai was an employee at the Chu Se District Employment Constancy and Vocational Training Centre in Gia Lai Province. On his way home from his office in mid 2016, the man was brutally attacked mistakenly by a group of minority people in this location.

Since the devastating blow occurred, Hai has been bed-ridden all the day, and this indeed shocked and deeply saddened his family members, placing a heavier burden on the shoulder of his wife, Mrs Nguyen Thi Duc Than, of caring for him, along with their 2 children, only aged 6 and 4 respectively.

Mrs Than, hence, quitted her job to take her husband to many hospital nationwide for treatment. 

The poor man is now being treated at the Traditional Medicine Ward of the Hoa Vang General Hospital in Da Nang for further treatment.

Still worse, the incident is driving Mr Hai’s family into poverty, little by little, as to date his wife has owned a total of over 300 million VND to her neighbours and relatives in order to cover her husband’s medical treatment costs over the past months.

“I don’t know how to manage to afford the treatment costs for my husband and cover my family’s daily expenses in the coming months”, Mrs Than said in tears.

This distressed family is in very desperate need of financial assistance from benevolent philanthropists from both home and abroad to cover the cost of medical treatment for him.
