The Da Nang People’s Committee has given the green light to grant more than 28 billion VND from the city budget to open the southern entrance to the Dien Hai Citadel, hereby allowing public access to this special national-level relic site from Quang Trung Street.

Transformer stations, power generators, and a part of the Software Park No 1’s campus will be removed to open the southern entrance to Dien Hai citadel

Under the project which will be implemented during the 2018 - 2020 period, focus will be on upgrading the existing walkway, green-covered and parking areas at the Software Park No 1 at Number 5 Quang Trung.

Also, transformer stations and power generators will be removed, overhead medium and low- voltage power lines will be moved underground, whilst water supply and drainage, decorative lighting, and surveillance camera systems will be installed.

The municipal Management Board of the city’s Infrastructure Construction and Urban Development Projects will be responsible for investing and managing the project.

Once it is completed, the project will integrate into the city’s technical infrastructure system and synchronous landscape, thereby boosting the tourism development.
