Dry and warm possible for city Wednesday
Wednesday into Saturday, Central Viet Nam, including Da Nang, is expected to enjoy dry conditions and warmer temperatures as the cold front weakens, according to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.
According to the national forecasters, today and tomorrow (Tuesday), Da Nang and elsewhere in the mid-central region are still bracing for moderate and heavy downpours.
The temperatures are likely to hover at only between 21 to 32 degrees Celsius in the mid-central regional localities, with the average humidity reported as around between 60 and 96%.
The national forecasters say to expect continued showers into the end of Tuesday for Da Nang. The rainfall accumulation is expected to be widely 10 to 30mm per day, and even 40mm in some parts of the city.
Meanwhile, north-easterly winds at level 5-6, with a gust at level 7, and rough seas, are now seen off the coast of the localities from Quang Tri to Phu Yen.
