On Wednesday, Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary Vo Cong Tri, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Dang Viet Dung, and People’s Council Vice Chairman Le Minh Trung, along with representatives from relevant departments and agencies, paid an inspection visit to the construction site of a ring road linking Hoa Phuoc with Hoa Khuong communes in Hoa Vang District.

According to the city’s Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Projects, currently 8 families have yet to hand over their own agricultural land affected by the project to the developer although they agreed with the developer’s site clearance and compensation plans.

Vice Chairman Dung urged construction units to accelerate their work at areas where the site clearance work has been already completed.

He, also, remarked the focus should be on building temporary traffic road in order to serve the travel demand of local residents, as well as planting trees and ensuring clean environment along the ring road.

Mr Dung also highly appreciated the great efforts of the Management Board in ensuring the on-schedule progress of the project, and the Hoa Vang District authorities and relevant agencies in solving arising problems during the site clearance and compensation progress.

He also asked construction units and relevant agencies to accelerate the site clearance work, planting trees, and installing lighting systems in order to ensure that the ring road can officially open to traffic on 19 May.
