189.4 billion VND for upgrading Ngo Quyen and Ngu Hanh Son streets
Following recent approval by the Da Nang government, a total of 189.4 billion VND from the city budget will be poured into the upgrade of the Ngo Quyen - Ngu Hanh Son route with a combined total length of 7.84km during the 2019 – 2022 period.
As planned, the upgrade project will start at the intersection of Nguyen Phan Vinh and Bui Quoc Hung streets, and end at the junction of Ho Xuan Huong Street, plus the eastern approach road to the Tien Son Bridge.
Under the upgrade work, focus will be on asphalting the road surface, placing the existing manholes underground, creating new median strips, ensuring 3 lanes for vehicles of all kinds on the major streets.
In particular, frontage roads, a minor routes running parallel to these main streets, exclusively for motorcycles, bicycles, rudimentary vehicles, and small-sized cars will be also upgraded.
Besides, traffic lights will be installed the intersection of Ngo Quyen and Nguyen Trung Truc streets and in front of the Son Tra District Medical Centre. Also, some necessary sorts of road signs will be installed along the streets.
