Test results negative in other 21 suspected coronavirus patients in the city

A spokesperson for the Da Nang Department of Health announced on Sunday that tests on 21 other suspected coronavirus patients came back negative.

Also on Sunday, 2 suspected patients who had been previously confirmed negative for the virus, were discharged from the Da Nang General Hospital.

To date, a total of 143 suspected patients have been recorded in the city. Of this figure, 107, who have been tested negative, have been discharged from local hospitals after recovery.

Meanwhile, there are checks ongoing on the remaining 36 others, including 3 foreigners, and they are kept in quarantine at the city-based Lung Hospital. Their samples of throat swabs and blood serums have been sent to the Nha Trang Pasteur Institute to test for the virus.
