Covid-19 cases rise to 401 on Wednesday morning as five more people test positive
The number of Covid-19 cases in Viet Nam has risen to 401 as five new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Wednesday morning, according to figures released by Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at 6.00am on 22 July.

All the five patients are imported cases, four of whom came home from Russia and the other was repatriated from the USA. All were immediately quarantined upon arrival.
The patient repatriated from the USA is a 68-year-old woman from Truong My Tay Ward, District 12, HCM City.
She landed at Van Don International Airport on July 16 and is currently being treated in Hai Duong who Province’s Hospital of Tropical Diseases.
The remainder arrived in Viet Nam on a repatriation flight from Russia on 17 July.
They are: a 25-year-old man from Yen Dong Commune, Y Yen District, the northern province of Nam Dinh, a 25-year-old man from Trung Dung Commune, Tien Lu District, the northern province of Hung Yen, a 25-year-old man from Tien Phong Commune, Ba Vi District, Ha Noi, and a 24-year-old man from Dien Xa Commune, Nam Truc District, the northern province of Nam Dinh.
All four are currently being treated at the Hoa Binh Province General Hospital.
It has now been 97 days since the country recorded the last infection in the community.
Up to 261 out of the total 401 patients are imported cases who were put under quarantine right after their arrival, posing no risk of community transmission.
Till date, 365 patients have been given the all-clear of the coronavirus, while the remaining 36 are being treated at medical establishments across the country.
There are currently 12,484 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or entering Viet Nam from pandemic-hit regions being quarantined, including 114 at hospitals, 11,239 at other facilities and 1,131 at home.
