One new suspected coronavirus case reported in Da Nang today
There was one new suspected coronavirus case confirmed in Da Nang on Friday by the Da Nang Department of Health.

The latest suspected case is a 57-year-old man, a resident of Lien Chieu District.
Showing fever, cough and sputum, the man went to the Hospital C on Wednesday morning, and was then classified as a suspected of having the virus.
Doctor Nguyen Trong Thien, the Director of the C Hospital, confirmed that the hospital is currently on lockdown after the man tested postive for the virus.
First test results for the man from the Da Nang Centre for Disease Control (CDC) lab came back positive for the new virus on Thursday. The samples of the city’s suspected case reported by the Da Nang CDC have been sent to the Nha Trang Pasteur Institute to test again.
Da Nang has traced 103 people in the city who have been in close contact with the new suspected patient, and all of them have tested negative for the virus once.
Health workers have already disinfected the Da Nang General Hospital and Da Nang C Hospital, and they will continue fumigating the patient’s neighbourhood.
Those who are close contacts of the new suspected patient are under isolation in a designed facility in Da Nang, and health workers are closely monitoring others in indirect contact with the suspected patient, for 14 days.
Da Nang's suspected coronavirus case now lives with his wife and daughter in Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District. Over the past month, the man has stayed only in Da Nang, rarely gone out of his residential area, and only met with his neighbours.

On 7 July, the man went to the Ngu Hanh Son District-based medical centre to take care of his sick birth mother.
On 10 July, his mother was transferred to the Da Nang General Hospital for further medical treatment.
On 16 July, he visited his mother who was treated at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery and Intervention at the Da Nang General Hospital.
On 17 July, the man started to experience such symptoms as fever and fatigue but was still able to attend a party at his relative’s house set on Nguyen Luong Street in Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Khanh Bac Ward in the evening of the same day.
On 18 July afternoon, he also attended a wedding party at the For You Palace Convention Centre located on 2 September Street.
All cases detected in Viet Nam since 16 April have been foreigners or Vietnamese returnees who were quarantined upon arrival.
Till date, 365 patients have been given the all-clear of the coronavirus, while the remainder are being treated at medical facilities across the country.
Viet Nam has brought home nearly 14,000 of its citizens since April. Worldwide, 636,479 people have died of the disease.
