During the 2015 - 2020 period, the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations (DAFO) has raised over 4.5 billion VND to carry out social welfare activities in the city.

Every year, DAFO joins forces with local relevant agencies and departments to implement over 75 projects totalling more than 130 billion VND in a bid to bring the maximum benefit to local residents.

DAFO was honoured with First-class Labour Medal in 2019 from the Vietnamese President, and 4 emulation flags and 2 Certificates of Merit from the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations for their commitment and dedication to our local community. Also, the organisation received 5 Certificates of Merit from the Da Nang People’s Committee.

Most recently, DAFP honoured 9 individuals and 5 groups for their active involvement in its patriotic emulation movement during the 2015-2020 period.
