Viet Nam records one new imported Covid-19 case on 19 July evening
One new imported cases of Covid-19 were reported in Viet Nam on Sunday, raising the total to 383, according to figures released by Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at 6pm on 19 July.

The 383rd patient is a 40-year-old Myanmar man who is a sailor working onboard the ship IPANEMA.
The foreign sailor left Japan on 16 June and entered Viet Nam at Hon Gai Port in the northeastern province of Quang Ninh on 23 June. The foreign man was quarantined on the vessel before being taken to a hotel for quarantine in Quang Ninh on 6 July.
On 9 July, his first sample was tested negative for the virus but his second sample showed a positive result eight days later.
The patient is being kept under quarantine and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases No 2 in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh district.
The country has gone 95 days without a domestically transmitted infection.
Among the confirmed cases, 243 were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival.
Meanwhile, 357 Covid-19 patients have fully recovered or 93.5 percent as of 6am on 19 July. No fatalities have been recorded.
Most of the 26 remainders are in stable condition, including seven negative for the virus once and four others at least twice.
There are 11,697 people having close contact with confirmed cases or coming from pandemic-hit areas in quarantine at present: 141 in hospitals, 10,486 in other quarantine sites, and 1,070 at home or their places of residence.
