City leader bids farewell to medical workers of Ho Chi Minh City
Healthcare workers from Ho Chi Minh City who had been sent to Da Nang to help the city tackle Covid-19 left Da Nang on Sunday morning as the outbreak has been effectively brought under control in Da Nang.

Addressing the farewell meeting of medical workers from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh highly praised them for getting their assigned tasks done well, as well as expressed his deep gratitude to them for their great devotion and dedication to the city's fight against Covid-19 in their efforts to treat infected patients and save lives of seriously ill patients.
“On behalf of the city leaders, I wish you all good health and a happy life in order to continue dedicating yourselves to save lives and protect the health of the public” Vice Chairman Chinh noted.
In reply, Dr Nguyen Phu Quoc from the HCMC-based People's Hospital 115, said it was a great honour for him and his collegues from Ho Chi Minh City to joining efforts with the government and people of Da Nang to fight agaisnt Covid-19. He hoped that the outbreak would end soon to allow life in Da Nang to get back to normal.
