The Hoa Vang Field Hospital discharged an additional eight Covid-19 patients treated here on Tuesday afternoon following three to four consecutive negative results.

The discharged patients, all of whom hail from Da Nang, were given the all-clear following their full recuperation from the life-threatening disease.

All are now in stable health and show no sign of respiratory symptoms, having a normal temperature and improved acute exudative lesions on chest CT images.

Upon their home comebacks, these recovered people must undergo a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine period at their places of residence as per the Ministry of Health's guidelines, as a means of ensuring there is no possibility of the virus recurring or being transmitted among the wider community.
