The Da Nang government will donate 14 billion VND from the city’s Natural Disaster Mitigation Fund to the neighbouring provinces of Quang Nam and Thua Thien-Hue in a bid to help these localities overcome the consequences of devastating floods as a result of the recent storm Noul-triggered torrential rains.

In detail, 12 billion VND will go to support Quang Nam Province, whist the remainder will be offered to Thua Thien Hue Province.

In particular, the Quang Nam provincial authorities pledged to use the Da Nang-offered aids and mobilise other financial resources to re-build some suspension bridges in mountainous Tay Giang District that were swept away by the floods, and deploy other essential construction works serving residents’ travel here.
