Data published by the Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment show that, in November alone, the Da Nang authorities granted business registration certificates to 3,950 new domestic and foreign businesses, branches and representative offices, with a total registered charter capital of 20,758 billion VND. 

The figures represent a drop of 29.8% and 20.9% in the number of newly-established firms and in the total registered investment capital respectively when compared with the same period last year.

During last month, 1,151businessed resumed operations. The average registered capital of each firm was 5.25 billion VND.

Between January and November, the number of newly-established companies involved in employment, tourism, along with machinery and equipment rental services went down by 43.8% compared to the same period last year, in real estate by 46.53%, and other services by 46.81%.

Meanwhile, there was a 33.8% increase in the number of newly-established firms involving the aspect of electricity, water, gas production and distribution.

Currently, there are a total of 31,753 businesses, branches and representative offices operating in Da Nang, with a total registered capital of 217,124 billion VND.
