More trains will be added on the Sai Gon - Quy Nhon and Sai Gon - Da Nang routes in a bid to meet the increasing travel demand from passengers over the upcoming New Year holiday, the Saigon Railway Transport JSC has announced.

As for the Sai Gon-Da Nang route, the SE8 train will depart in HCMC at 2.30pm on 31 December and then arrive in Da Nang at 9.28am. The SE27 train will leave the Da Nang Railway Station at 8.02am on 3 January 2021 and arrive in HCMC at 3.25am on the following day.

The SQN2 train will en route from HCMC to Quy Nhon on 30 and 31 December. Meanwhile, the SQN1 train will run from Quy Nhon to HCMC on 2 and 3 January 2021.

The Saigon Railway Transport JSC will provide discount train tickets and special offers for its passengers. Specifically, passengers who are heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, social policy beneficiaries, victims of Agent Orange, disable people, students and children will have their ticket prices reduced under the national laws.

Passengers who buy round-trip tickets will have their ticket prices cut by 5% for their return tickets.
