Starting from early January 2021, drivers of four-wheel vehicles need to pay for using toll road on exit of Da Nang International Airport instead of charges on entry of the airport as previously stipulated. The changes to toll charges aim to help air passengers save time for their check-in procedures.

It is known that vehicles on entry and exit of Da Nang International Airport will have their licence plates photographed. You need to pay charges for using toll road on exit of the airport and the fees still remain unchanged.

In particular, 5-seater cars and under 4-tonne trucks are charged 10,000 VND for the first 45 minutes upon arrival in the airport, and 5,000 VND for every 30 minutes thereafter.

Charges for 5 to 15-seater cars and 4 to 10-tonne trucks are 15,000 VND per vehicle, for the first 45 minutes upon arrival in the airport and 8,000 VND for every 30 minutes thereafter.

Meanwhile, 15 to 30-seater coaches and over 10-tonne trucks are charged 20,000 VND per vehicle for the first 45 minutes upon arrival in the airport, and 10,000 VND for every 30 minutes thereafter.

Drivers of over 30-seater coaches pay 30,000 VND for the first 45 minutes upon arrival in the airport, and additional 15,000 VND every 30 minutes thereafter.

Also starting from early January 2021, all drivers of such ride-hailing apps as Grab and under 9-seater vehicles are banned from closely accessing terminals at Da Nang International Airport to pick-up or drop-off passengers. They are only allowed to pick-up or drop-off passengers at a designated parking area which is about 50m far from the airport's domestic passenger terminal T1 as an alternative way.

Staff of the Aviation Security Centre of the Da Nang International Airport and Da Nang Police will increase checks on any vehicles on entry and exit of the airport, as well as impose administrative fines on violations on passenger transport there.
