On Tuesday, Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum municipal People's Council Chairman Luong Nguyen Minh Triet checked the preparatory work for the implementation of two projects on upgrading residential access roads in Son Tra District.

These roads are a section of 45m-long road between its intersections with Ho Ngoc Lam and Truong Dinh streets in Man Thai Ward, and a section of 45m-long road between its intersections with Le Huu Trac and Nguyen Van Thoai streets in An Hai Dong Ward.

After listening to reports released by representatives from Son Tra District authorities and relevant agencies, plus opinions and aspirations expressed by residents living on these roads, Mr Triet urged the boards of Economics and Budget, and Urban, of the municipal People’s Council to make every effort to ensure the legal basis of these projects, as well as consider the granting of the city’s medium-term investment capital for the 2021-2025 period on the projects.

Mr Triet also asked the municipal People’s Committee to complete necessary investment procedures so that these projects can be carried out during this year.

It is known that the upgrade and expansion of the 45m-long roads in Man Thai and An Hai Dong wards are expected to cost 45 and 65 billion VND respectively.
