Da Nang has been named the top destination for domestic travellers by the Viet Nam Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) out of 15 places in a new suvery.

The Da Nang-based Cau Vang (Golden Bridge) is very inviting to visitors from both home and abroad thanks to its unique architecture.

TAB has launched the survey of 3,755 people in Viet Nam from March 15- 29, and this is an annual survey looking at changes in the travel behaviour of Vietnamese people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The suvey results indicate that more than 83% of respondents answered that they are ready and eager to travel in the next few months, especially in summer 2021, and they are in favour of flights.

With its efforts to promote Da Nang as one of Viet Nam’s best domestic destinations to visit, Da Nang tourism industry has launched many tourism stimulus programmes on the themes of "Da Nang - a safe place to visit", "Green Da Nang welcomes you", " A brilliant summer at Da Nang".

Da Nang was the second-best domestic destinations to visit in 2020 in the TAB survey last year, and the city has risen to the top of the most popular domestic travel destinations in 2021.

In addition, the TAB survey report shows that the majority of Vietnamese  travellers are in favour of taking short nature and sea holidays with their families and friends. The results also indicate that there are three factors that influence Vietnamese people's travel plans, namely safety with 58% of the respondents, security with 52%, and financial capacity  with 52%.
