COVID-19 testing for 2,000 Da Nang Airport staff members
On Tuesday morning, staff of the Da Nang Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) took a combined throat and nose swab of 2,000 personnel working at the Da Nang Airport to test for COVID-19. Included are ground staff, security staff, baggage handlers, and shuttle / bus drivers.

Da Nang Airport Deputy Director Hoang Huu Cuong said rapid coronavirus screening tests for all Da Nang Aiport staff members can spot those who are at greatest risk of spreading the disease, thereby helping the aiport authorities manage risks from coronavirus and provide safer workplaces and services for workers and passengers.

Functional forces asked the airport staff to adhere to the 5 recommendations of the Ministry of Health, join the queue, make health declaration, and keep a safe distance from others while in line to get a coronavirus test.
The Da Nang CDC will conduct a group testing on the aiport staff, and their test results will be ready on Tuesday evening, May 11.
