Six more people in Da Nang tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on Saturday afternoon, bringing the city’s total number to 8, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has reported .

All of them were close contacts of the previously- confirmed COVID-19 patients in the city. Four out of the six newly recorded cases had links with the sealed-off AMIDA International Beauty Salon.

The first one is a 25-year-old man residing on Thai Thi Boi Street, residential quarter No. 49, Chinh Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District. He is a security guard for AMIDA’s facility at 222 Phan Chau Trinh, Binh Hien Ward, Hai Chau District.

The second was a 26-year-old woman dwelling on Hoang The Thien Street, Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District. She is an AMIDA employee.

The third is a 35-year-old woman residing on December 2 Street, Binh Hien Ward, Hai Chau District, working as an employee at the Human Resources Department of AMIDA.

The fourth is a 23-year-old man inhabiting on An Thuong 32 Street, My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District).

The fifth is a 26-year-old online female salesman at home, residing in An Trung 2, An Hai Tay Ward, Son Tra District.

The last is a 82-year-old woman residing in residential quarter No.50, Tam Thuan Ward, Thanh Khe District.

The municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has released the results of the epidemiological investigation of these infected people.

The public should keep a close eye on places and contacts linked to these infected people.

Besides AMIDA international beauty salon’s facilities at 539 Dien Bien Phu Street and 222 Phan Chau Trinh, other venues include food shops at 124 Huynh Thuc Khang Street and 175 Hai Phong Street, 91 Le Do, 2, Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, 10 Dang Dung Street, 339-2A Truong Chinh Street, Thanh Huong guesthouse at 693 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, 418 Tran Cao Van Street, 135 Huynh Thuc Khang Street, 130 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, 77 Thai Thi Boi Street, 224 Phan Chau Trinh Street, 91 Phan Chau Trinh Street, Pharmacity on Phan Dang Luu Street, Cam Le Medical Centre, La coffee shop at 43 Nguyen Van Thong, Thien Nhan Clinic at 278 Dong Da, Binh Hien Ward Medical Station, 46 Bach Dang Street.
