During his meeting with represtatives of the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Preventation and Control on Tuesday afternoon, Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh urged district authorities to speed up testing, tracing and isolating contacts of the city’s infected patients, especially new cases.

Authorities in Hai Chau and Son Tra districts have been asked to ramp up swab collection and increase program capacity to take swab samples of 2,500 -3,000 people per day. The focus should be paid on testing and tracing those who are at greatest risk of spreading the disease, and residents in hot spots.

Disinfectant sprays for the prevention of COVID-19 have been already conducted in this industrial park and surrounding areas.
