Travel and contact history of Da Nang's COVID-19 patients confirmed on May 7 released
The Da Nang Steering Committee for the COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Thursday evening unveiled what it has known so far about the travel and contact history of two more COVID-19 patients who were confirmed on Friday evening.
One positive cased is confirmed in a 30 -year-old female office worker at the AMIDA International Beauty Salon, residing in a rented house on An Nhon 7 Street, Son Tra District. The other is a 28 year-old male, living on Pham Van Nghi Street, residential quarter No.52, Thac Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District. He is a nursing worker at the Emergency Department of the Hoan My Da Nang Hospital.
With regard to female infected case, on May 2, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, she went to her company at 539 Dien Bien Phu Street by motorbike for a meeting with five co-colleges here. In the afternoon, she had lunch here and came into contact with other employees. From 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, she attended a face-to-face meeting with all of the company’s staff, and then went home.
On May 3, in the morning, the woman had breakfast at a ‘banh cuon’ (steamed rolled rice pancakes) eatery near the company’s another facility at 222 Phan Chau Trinh, and then bought some yogurt at a nearby shop. At noon, she had snack at the company. Around 13:00 to 15:00, the patient had a dental treatment at the company. In the afternoon, she met with three people here. In the evening, the woman and a friend of her ate duck porridge at Phan Tu, opposite to Hong An Pub, and then visited a pharmacy for some medicine at Nguyen Cong Tru roundabout - Ngo Quyen, and bought some bread on Nguyen Cong Tru Street.
On May 4 morning, the woman had breakfast at home. At around 9:00am, she went to the company at 539 Dien Bien Phu and met three colleagues here. At around 7:00pm, the patient and a friend of hers went to Ngo Quyen Street for ‘hu tieu’ (tapioca noodle soup, and then went home.
On May 5, at around 9:00 am, the woman came to the company’s facility at 539 Dien Bien Phu and contacted two colleagues. Afterwards, she walked to Thanh Khe Market for some foodstuff. In the afternoon, the patient hosted a reception for a client at the company.
On May 6, in the evening morning and at noon, she developed a fever and suffered signs of fatigue, and stayed at home. At around 3:00pm, she visited to the Family Hospital (and a ATM before the hospital) and then had her swab samples for SARS-CoV-2 testing.
On the evening of May 6, her test conducted at the hospital came back positive for SARS-CoV-2, and this result was also confirmed in the morning of May 7 by the Da Nang Centre of Disease Control.
As for the male infected patient, he came into close contact with a male out-patient who then tested positive for COVID-19 on May 3. After that, the man was isolated at the hospital and tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once on the same day, becoming a F1.
On May 4 and 5, the man was put in isolation at the Lien Chieu District-based centralised dormitories complex.
On May 6, the man displayed symptoms of fever and aching limbs, and on May 7, he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Anyone who accidentally came to the places where the two infected people had visited before they were tested positive for the deadly virus should immediately contact medical centres in their locales for timely assistance.
