Fines of VND 60 million imposed on 4 persons in Da Nang for breaking COVID rules
Authorities in Ngu Hanh Son District has decided to impose a fine of VND 15 million each on a 40 year-old woman, a 22 year-old man, a 21-year old man and a 21-year-old woman, all from Nong Son District, Quang Nam for falsing health information under the Act to provide for the prevention of the spread of infectious and contagious diseases caused by group A streptococcal infections.
The Ngu Hanh Son District authorities said that the four persons flew to Da Nang from Ho Chi Minh City, and they undertook to go straight home in Quang Nam Province upon arrival in the city. However, staff of the Medical Station in Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, found them living togethe at 5A, 5B on Vo Nguyen Giap Street. They were immediately invited to offices of local authorities for being questioned.
Since June 18, the Ngu Hanh Son District authorities have fined 68 million VND 8 persons for breaching coronavirus rules.
