Over 100 Da Nang doctors, students leave for Phu Yen Province to help beat COVID-19
The Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy under the Ministry of Health held a ceremony to see off a delegation of 102 managerial officials, doctors, nurses, and students leaving for the south-central Vietnamese province of Phu Yen to help it battle against COVID-19 in response to an appeal issued by the Ministry.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Minh, the school's rector, said that, in face of the complicated developments of COVID-19, more than 500 staff members and students have signed up as volunteers to support coconavirus-stricken localities across the country to beat the deadly virus. All of them have accessed training courses on pandemic prevention and control skills.
The first batch of 102 dispatched medical staff members and students are strongly determined to do their utmost within their potential and capabilities to help Phu Yen Province to put the COVID-19 outbreak under control.
Their trip to this locality can take a long time and their return date is unknown.
