The Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting has said that due to the effects of the developing southern low pressure trough associated with the southwest monsoon, widespread hot conditions are likely to continue prevailing Da Nang today, July 26.

The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 35-37 degrees Celsius in Da Nang on Monday while the lowest humidity level in the city will be between 45% and 55%. There are further warnings of potential showers and thunderstorms in some parts of Da Nang in late afternoon and evening.

The hot conditions are expected to persist over a widespread area of Da Nang, for at least five days.

The maximum temperature is likely to touch over the 37-degrees Celsius mark in some places of Da Nang over the next two days. Temperatures of 35 and 37 degree Celsius will be common across the city.

Hot weather will linger in Da Nang, most of the following 3-5 days with the maximum temperature soaring to over 38 degrees Celsius while temperatures of 36 and 38 degrees Celsius will be common in most parts of the city.
