61 more patients in Da Nang discharged to home following COVID-19 recovery
61 more people were released from the field hospital in the west of the city, the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre on Tuesday, September 21, after being treated for COVID-19.
With this, the number of patients that have been discharged from Da Nang hospitals after recovering from coronavirus has hit 2,451 since August 25.
One patient died of COVID-19 complications on September 21, bringing the total death toll in Da Nang to 64 since the beginning of 2021.
Currently, 618 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 26 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 55 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 699 people, including 40 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 129 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 66 others came back negative twice.
At present, there are 1,150 people who are being placed under quarantine in 23 designated facilities across the city.
A total of 22 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 939 families with 3,683 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.
To date, a total of 684,356 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Da Nang. So far, 593,735 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Da Nang, of which, 528,025 people received the first dose while 75,710 others got their second shot.
