Da Nang reports 93 COVID-19 recoveries on Sept. 20

Da Nang recorded 93 recoveries on Monday, September 20, taking total recoveries to 2,456 since August 25, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in its latest COVID-19 bulletin said.

Two patients died of COVID-19 complications on September 20, bringing the total death toll in Da Nang to 63 since the beginning of 2021.

Currently, 668 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 25 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 57 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.

Overall, 750 people, including 40 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 81 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 108 others came back negative twice.

At present, there are 993 people who are being placed under quarantine in 24 designated facilities across the city.

A total of 22 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 939 families with 3,691 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.

To date, a total of 684,356 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Da Nang. So far, 565,252 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Da Nang, of which, 490,449 people received the first dose while 74,520 others got their second shot.
