Da Nang reports 132 COVID-19 recoveries on Sept. 18

Da Nang recorded 132 recoveries on Saturday, September 18, taking total recoveries to 2,317 since August 25, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in its latest COVID-19 bulletin said.

Currently, 798 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 32 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 57 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.

Overall, 887 people, including 48 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 201 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 134 others came back negative twice.

At present, there are 865 people who are being placed under quarantine in 23 designated facilities across the city.

A total of 32 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 3,738 families with 13,715 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.

To date, a total of 543,956 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Da Nang. So far, 493,083 of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Da Nang, of which, 418,774 people received the first dose while 74,309 others got their second shot.
