Da Nang reports 29 COVID-19 recoveries on Sept. 23

Da Nang recorded 29 recoveries on Thursday, September 23, taking total recoveries to 2,530 since August 25, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in its latest COVID-19 bulletin said.

Currently, 556 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 23 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 51others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.

Overall, 630 people, including 27 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 58 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 31 others came back negative twice.

At present, there are 1,122 people who are being placed under quarantine in 22 designated facilities across the city.

A total of 21 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 1,070 families with 4,221people in total are being placed under full lockdown.

To date, a total of 684,356 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in Da Nang. So far, 665,547 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Da Nang, of which, 584,894 people received the first dose while 80,653 others got their second shot.
