Rapid antigen tests made mandatory for students entering Da Nang

Rapid antigen tests are compulsory for all pupils and students along with their accompaniers, when entering Da Nang through a COVID-19 checkpoint C9 set up in front of the Cocobay Entertainment and Tourism Complex on Truong Sa Street in Ngu Hanh Son District.

Only children under 6 years old, accompanied by their parents, are exempted from rapid antigen testing.

Since Monday evening, October 4, Da Nang and Quang Nam citizens have been allowed to travel through the quarantine checkpoint C9 with some certain requirements.

In particular, under the rules set by the Da Nang government, to be eligible for entering Da Nang, citizens from Quang Nam Province have to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result via the RT-PCR technique with validity within 72 hours or from antigen rapid test. Additionally, they have to make their medical declarations via online Danang SmartCity app or at website https://khaibaoyte.danang.gov.vn.

In addition to showing their negative test results via the RT-PCR technique with validity within 72 hours or from antigen rapid test, arrivals to Quang Nam Province from Da Nang are required to declare their health status via the PC-COVID app or at a quarantine checkpoint set up in Dien Ban Town.

Meanwhile, ‘Green lane’ vehicles receive QR codes are prioritised to pass through COVID-19 prevention checkpoints C10 on Tran Dai Nghia Street or C22 on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street in Da Nang.

Arrivals to Da Nang, except for the abovementioned cases, are still subject to rapid antigen tests whilst entering the city through the city’s gateway checkpoints.
