Till date, the owners of 9,347 vehicles have not yet fulfilled the obligation of paying charges for car parking acts on Bach Dang and Tran Phu, two of the largest streets in the Da Nang centre.

The Da Nang Department of Transport said that, in the process of collecting parking fees along Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets, many vehicle owners have actively paid parking fees according to the regulations. However, there were still a lot of drivers who failed to make payments.

Therefore, the municipal Department of Transport demanded that parking fee evaders fulfill their financial obligations to the municipal budget at the earliest.

It is known that car parking charges are applied between 6.00am to 10.00pm every day.

Fire engines, ambulances and other specialised vehicles, all of which are on official duty in accordance with Vietnamese laws, are permitted to park free of charge.
