Following fresh instructions made by the Da Nang Police Department, the operation of 17 checkpoints set up at the city’s gateway for the screening of everyone entering the city for risks of COVID-19 started temporarily suspending from 12:00p.m. on Saturday until further notice.

For the time being, only checkpoints at the Da Nang International Airport, the Da Nang Railway Station, the city’s Inter-provincial Coach Station, the Da Nang Port and the Tho Quang Fishing Wharf are still permitted to operate as usual.

Relevant forces on duty at the suspended checkpoints as mentioned above are required to do the cleanups and preserve all equipment in readiness for the re-opening of these sites at per request of the municipal administration.
