The already-demolished items were 43 temporary huts and tents, 521 fish farming rafts, 296 bamboo rafts for farming oysters, mussels and 'bop bop', and 19.6ha for clam farming.

The Son Tra District People’s Committee has also directed the authorities of Tho Quang and Nai Hien Dong wards to coordinate with relevant units to continue raise fishermen’s awareness about the city's consistent policy that no fish and shellfish aquaculture farms are allowed to be built on rivers and coastal bays to ensure the environment, water sources and landscapes for the city, as well as strict handle violations in line with the city’s laws.

Currently, 15 spontaneous and illegal aquaculture structures in Bai Nam, Bai Ngang, Mui Don and CT.15 Port, all in the district’s Tho Quang Ward have yet to be demolished.

Due to the unfavourable weather conditions with high waves and strong winds, the functional forces of Son Tra District and Tho Quang Ward will complete the dismantlement of the remaining illegal structures as soon as possible.
