Repatriation flight for 305 Vietnamese nationals from Saudi Arabia lands in Da Nang
A combined total of 305 Vietnamese nationals, excluding children under 2 years old, were brought home in a repatriation flight from Saudi Arabia on Friday.
The repatriation flight departed from Saudi Arabia at 1:00am on December 10 and touched down at Da Nang International Airport at noon on the same day.
Upon arrival in Da Nang, all passengers had their body temperatures checked. If someone are tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, they will be isolated and treated according to the city's regulations.
All of them were put under mandatory quarantine after entering Viet Nam as a precaution against coronavirus. Of which, 105 citizens were quarantined at the city's Military Command, whilst the remaining 200 were handed over to Quang Nam Province.
The Da Nang People's Committee, on November 26, issued the plan No. 7976/PA-UBND on restoring the reception of repatriation flights. In particular, all arrivals to Da Nang from repatriation flights must stay in managed quarantine in a hotel at their own cost.
