According to the latest statistics released by the Da Nang Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Da Nang government has provided financing worth VND 192.4 billion for the needy across the city in order to help them celebrate the upcoming Tet Festival 2022.

Of this, more than VND6.9 billion has come from the national budget, over VND 94.8 billion from the municipal budget, more than VND9.6 billion from district-level budgets, and VND80.9 billion from other financial sources.

The money has been given to 216,958 households living near and below the city's poverty threshold, people with meritorious services to the national revolution, COVID-19-affected people, poor children and disadvantaged workers.

Up to now, all in-kind and cash gifts have been already presented to needy people.
