The APEC Sculpture Park in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District, normally brightly lit, will switch off its lights from 8:30 pm - 9:30pm on Saturday March 26 in response to Earth Hour 2022.

During the light-turning off hour, the tourist spot will be lit up by candles and phone flashing lights by hundreds of Youth Union members and local residents.

To respond the Earth Hour 2022, the Hai Chau District authorities have promoted the publicity of the Earth Hour campaign and encouraged organisations and units in the locality to post photos and video clips about  the campaign on social network sites with the hashtag #earth-hour.

Before the APEC Sculpture Park switches off its lights, a musical programme will be organised here to serve locals and visitors.

In addition, there will be awards ceremonies for a writing contest about historical sites in Hai Chau District during the 2021-2022 school year, and a photo contest themed ‘Spring colours of Hai Chau District- Da Nang 2022’.
