Police in Da Nang’s Thanh Khe District said on Sunday evening that they were continuing to investigate and clarify the case of a car crashing into a bakery located on Dien Bien Phu Street on the same day.

At around 6:30 pm on Sunday, a 7-seat car with registration plate of 43A-505.82 (unknown driver) was traveling on Dien Bien Phu Street in the direction of from the Han River to Lien Chieu District.

When coming to the road tunnel at the intersection of the Dien Bien Phu and Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, the car turned towards Le Do Street in Thanh Khe District and then crashed straight into the Dong Thanh bakery located on Dien Bien Phu Street.

The accident injured many bakery’s employees and customers, and damaged a lot of property.

Immediately after the incident, Thanh Khe District Police were present at the scene to regulate traffic.
