Under instructions recently released by the Da Nang Department of Health, local medical facilities are carrying out the administration of AstraZeneca vaccines against COVID-19 to remaining eligible residents in Da Nang from April 19 - 22.

Accordingly, eligible people include all adults 18 and older who have yet to receive a single dose, along with those having received one dose of AstraZeneca vaccine for four weeks or more; having had two doses of AstraZeneca/Pfizer/Moderna vaccines for three months or more; having gotten two doses of Vero Cell vaccine for 28 days or more; and having received an additional dose of Pfizer, Vero Cell vaccines for three months or more.

The district-level authorities shall urgently and drastically identify those who are eligible for AstraZeneca vaccine administration, including immigrant employees from other localities working and living in the city, and encourage them to get fully vaccinated on time.

Heed should be paid to ensuring injection sites meeting the standards and regulations, reviewing the list of eligible vaccination status, widely announcing the vaccination schedule for the eligible subjects.
