Officers from the Da Nang port border guard post have picked up the property inattentively left there and sent it back to its owner.

Previously, on May 7, while on duty, a task force led by comrade Vo Xuan Chi, the Captain of the Administrative Staff at the Da Nang port border guard post discovered a blue and black wallet left on tourist boat Duy Khang.

Inside the wallet were a ID card under the name Manh Truong Sinh with permanent residence in the northern province of Thai Binh, a passport and the amount of VND44.82 million in cash and 5 banknotes of 50 Euro.

In a prompt fashion, the working group verified the information and manage to seek the wallet’s owner. At 11.00 p.m on the same day, the owner came the post get his missing properties back, and sincerely thanked the border guards their kindness and honesty.
