An e-residential area made its pilot debut on Saturday in Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang. This is the first electronic residential area in the district.

The launching of such e-residential area model aims to save time and costs taken for handling administrative procedures, and strengthen close coordination between related units, thereby satisfy the demands for organisations and citizens in the district.

Local citizens will be assisted to register for e-citizen accounts, and handle online public services at levels 3 and 4 under the jurisdiction of the ward authorities on Saturdays and Sundays.

Citizens will also be supported to create e-citizen accounts to access services on the Da Nang Public Service Portal at https://dichvucong.danang.gov.vn/, as well as to submit online applications at levels 3 and 4 and use free public postal services when submitting level 4 dossiers.

It is expected that by late 2022, about 3,000 citizens will have e-citizen accounts, and the rate of applications submitted and processed online will be at least 40%.
