Free checkups, medicine, gifts for Ly Son island district's residents

Representatives from Da Nang-based Y Duc International Clinic and the municipal Red Cross Society on Saturday made a joint trip to the Ly Son island district in the central province to offer free health checkups, medicine and gifts to residents living here.

During this highly meaningful programme, the doctors and nurses conducted free consultation, medical examinations, and medicine distribution for 100 elderly people, along with dental examinations for 100 students in Ly Son island district.

In addition, gifts, each worth VND100,000 were given out to 200 disadvantaged people in the district.

This programme aims to promote the implementation of volunteer programmes for community health, encourage more doctors and nurses to participate in community-targeted activities to ensure social welfare and promote the spirit of spreading good deeds in life.
