Many parts of Da Nang are reeling under scorching heat wave which is predicted to continue into the next few days.

As temperatures rise, local residents tend to seek green and cool spaces such as parks, under bridge locations, and shopping centers to avoid the heat.

As noted, the March 29 Park, and areas under the Tran Thi Ly and Rong (Dragon) bridges, are chosen by many people, especially students and workers, as places to avoid the heat.

"My lunch break is quite short, so I choose to take a rest at the area under the Rong (Dragon) Bridge instead of having to run from my workplace on Nguyen Van Linh Street to my house on Trinh Dinh Thao Street under the severe heat wave conditions" said Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chau, 35, residing in Cam Le District.
