The Da Nang Urban Environment JSC said on Friday that it has recently coordinated with the Da Nang Police Department to launch a model of 3M Sanitation Workers’ Group.

The Da Nang Urban Environment JSC recently coordinated with the municipal Police Department to launch a model of 3M Sanitation Workers’ Group.

The launching of the model aims to respond to the ‘All People Protecting National Security’ movement and contribute to the effective implementation of the 'City of 4 Safe Programmes' campaign.

Accordingly, twelve groups of ‘3M Sanitation Workers’ were established at 12 factories and centers under the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC. The 3M principle means ‘Moi Truong Xanh, Sach’ (Clean and Green Environment) - ‘Moi Truong An Toan’ (Safe Environment) - ‘Moi Truong Lanh Manh’ (Healthy Environment).

Directors of factories and centers are groups’ leaders, whilst heads of the environmental, technical and security teams are deputy leaders. Team leaders select workers and employees of factories and centers as members.

The groups are responsible for ensuring environmental sanitation, regularly monitoring and updating the operation of organisations and individuals, and reporting cases of environmental pollution to relevant agencies for promptly handling.

In addition to the aforementioned duty, members of 3M workers' groups must promptly notify the relevant authorities and police agencies at all levels about incidents related to order security such as thefts, robberies, frauds, property appropriation, and breaking pots flowers and trees for urgent inspection and promptly handling.
